Structure

University Campus contains Central Departments, Departments and Programs. There are altogether 32 Central Departments in the University Campus belonging to Central Departments of Humanities and Social  Sciences (FoHSS), Faculty of Education (FoE), Faculty of Management (FoM) and Institute of Science and Technology (IoST). FoHSS has the 18 Central Departments, IoST has 12 Central Departments. Similarly, FoE has 15 subject specific departments and FoM has 6 subject specific departments. In addition, three departments and …. departments are also situated within this premises.

This Campus is one of the central and leading Campuses of Tribhuvan University with modern teaching/learning and research facilities as well as physical infrastructures such as class room, library, laboratory, cafeteria, health center, boys’ and girls’ hostel, sport complex, playground, auditorium hall, faculty quarters, and golden jubilee garden. The record available from different departments and the principal’s office, the number of faculties, administrative and utility staffs are listed in Table 1.

The University Campus runs Masters, M. Phil., and Ph. D. programs in different disciplines in the Central Department. From the data available of last years, the attraction in Ph. D. has been found flourishing. Dean offices, in coordination with corresponding Central Departments, have been working on it. Student Details for Ph. D., M Phil and Masters Level are listed in Table 2.

Every organization has its fundamental structure incorporating leading and supplementary human resources, office sections etc. University Campus runs under the Principal’s office. The organization of the University Campus is briefly shown in the block diagram 2.

The Principal Office of the University Campus is responsible for the coordination of administrative and academic programs in the campus according to the University Vision, Mission, Goals, Objectives and Rules and Regulations.
